Scottie Pippen has called it quits. Pippen has announced his retirement as a member of the Chicago Bulls, who he helped lead to six NBA titles alongside Michael Jordan.
Pippen was voted one of the league's 50 greatest players.
He spent time in Houston and Portland before coming back to Chicago last year to help guide a young Bulls team. But, knee injuries derailed Pippen's season, the only one of his 17 seasons that the seven-time All-Star missed the playoffs.
He retires with career averages of more than 16 points, six rebounds and five assists per game. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar appeared in more playoff games.
