DMI Music & Media Names Strategic Marketing Exec

DMI Music & Media Solutions has named Paul Murphy to the newly created position of vice president of strategic marketing and business development.
Murphy’s appointment is effective immediately. His mission will be to develop new business and strategic partners for DMI to create music and media services for major brands.
He comes to DMI from the Recording Academy, where he was senior director, marketing and strategic alliances for the Grammy Awards and the Latin Grammy Awards. While at the Recording Academy, he spawned partnerships with XM Radio, USA Today, Verizon, Borders, Heineken and Westwood One.
Murphy also previously charted marketing and business strateey for Clear Channel Communications/SFX, Licensemusic.com and Feld Entertainment.
