Hernandez new Telemundo COO

NBC Universal's Spanish-language network Telemundo on Monday said it has tapped industry veteran Jacqueline Hernandez as COO.

Based out of New York, Hernandez will oversee sales, marketing and domestic growth platforms for the consolidated network and stations group. She will report directly to Telemundo president Don Browne.

Prior to the appointment, Hernandez was publisher of People en Espanol, a leading publication in the U.S. Latino market.
