Former Violator Management president Mona Scott-Young has announced the launch of her new multimedia company, Monami Entertainment.
The New York-based entity will offer such services as brand and product development, talent management, television and film production, and marketing, reports Allhiphop.com.
Monami's roster includes longtime Scott-Young clients Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes, as well as up and coming Interscope Records artists Brit and Alex and BET host Tocarra.
In addition, Yandy Smith, Scott-Young's longtime colleague, will bring her client, Dipset rapper Jim Jones, to the company as she joins the mogul in the venture.
