Bernard Lee is the Managing Director of Laurus Wealth Management, a Coral Gables, Florida based securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of services to a substantial and diversified client base. Prior to his career as an investment advisor he worked as a professional model and actor with commercial, television, stage and screen credits and is registered as a non-active member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and Actors Equity (AEA). Bernard holds five securities licenses including the Series 7, 66 and Life and Annuities licenses. He believes strongly in his community and is a founding member of the member of the Black Men’s Advisory Council, an organization formed in conjunction with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Miami to address the need for Black Male Mentors.
A frequently requested public speaker, his recent appearances include The University of Miami Black Student Union, The Collective Banking Group of Miami-Dade and Vicinity’s Economic Empowerment Conference and numerous civic events throughout the South Florida area.
Bernard is the former host of WTPS Newstalk 1080AM (Radio One), “It’s About Time!” The show aired weekly and helped develop listeners with the tools to develop their, “millionaire mindsets.” Bernard has been featured on CNN Newsmakers and is a contributing writer for In Focus Magazine. His unique combination of theatrical background and work as a financial service professional provides a understanding of SPEC members financial planning challenges.
